I tried the porterhouse steak here with side salad, which had a great variety of ingredients in it, which surprised me. I chose peppercorn sauce for the steak and found the sauce tangy and enjoyable. A delicious meal overall though I could have eaten a bigger piece of steak.

The meal was nice and tasty, steak, bacon etc, lovely. But if you’re wanting a steak-​house style meal, this is the fancier and as such smaller serve and pricier end of the market. The branding for me gives the impression of ‘good serve at reasonable prices’, but doesn’t match the served up plate (or the bill, add $ 5 – 10 onto meals you can get at rivals).
Again, the meal was good, but I wish I’d researched prior, I would have gone elsewhere.

The service is good here and they do heaps of specials, which I’m always a fan of.
Their steaks do taste nice but I’m not that bothered with the rest.
The burgers are terrible and I prefer HJ’s burgers. But then again who goes to a steak house and orders a burger (although Hogsbreath do really yum burgers).

Never had a drama at this restaurant (or any other Outback Jacks). The staff are always friendly, the food is tasty and a reasonable price. They have weekly special nights including ‘kids eat free’. Pick this chain over Hogs Breath any day!
