Tucked away in the courtyard of Westfield Whitford City, this Indian restaurant is a hidden gem. The restaurant is modern, large, bright and clean. I have visited this restaurant twice for lunch and have not been disappointed. On both occasions I have tried to lunch special; Vegetarian Thali for $ 12.95: Two curries, rice, naan, pappadums, salad and small dessert. All the food is fresh, vibrant and moreish. For the price, it is excellent value. It is sad that not enough people know about this restaurant. It is always very quiet. I think if you are a fan of Indian cuisine, you should give this restaurant a go.

My husband and I are looking for a good Indian restaurant but certainly did not find one last night. We arrived about 7.20pm to an almost empty restaurant clutching our Groupon voucher. The waitress gave us the menu and the Groupon menu which was handwritten on a piece of paper with crossings out. The deal states total value up to $ 126.20, but what the restaurant is doing is short serving. We were served two onion bhaji, two pieces of chicken tikka and two vegetable samosas all squashed onto a small plate and lukewarm with a small amount of sauce. We choose Saag lamb and Butter chicken which arrived too promptly after the entrée. Again both dishes were luke warm — the lamb was chewy and the spinach sauce had been poured over the top so underneath were dry cubes of meat. The chicken dish was OK. Dal Tadka runny yellow sauce. If we had been asked to pay $ 126.20 for this meal I would have fainted.

The restaurant is spacious and great for big groups. The layout and interior is tasteful and really comfortable. Service is friendly and sweet with a very polite waitress. We ordered the spicy chicken wings, onion bhaji, veggie samosas for entrée — all of which were yummy and I would order again. The wings didn’t seem too indian but they were really nice to eat. The garlic naan here is delicious — good portion size and loaded with garlic(my favorite naan’s are like this!) I tried the Palak Paneer and Butter chicken — not watery and a good consistancy. The only negative was that the portions of the curry were a bit small and these aren’t cheap curries either. I wanted more as they were so yummy!
