This is a particularly beautiful park, smack-bang in the middle of a residential area, comprising a large, long lake lined with trees, and with fountains in its centre, as well as a larger, grassy area with a standard-issue children’s playground. The park strikes me as surprisingly underused. If I lived closer to it, I’d be using it all the time, but the locals tend not to. There’s a nice walking track around the lake that brings a few walkers out in the early evening, which I suppose is something, but one wonders whether or not the locals really appreciate what they’re sporting here.
