I’ve driven past Santoni so many times. And so many times have said, I really must get there. Well… I finally did and what a happy belly I walked away with.
Spread over 3 levels, they have a wide range of snacks, pizza and pasta to choose from. I had the lamb, which was like a sova on a pizza. Nice base that wasn’t too thin and a decent hit of toppings.

Santoni’s serves up three floors of pizza and pasta goodness.
The pizza choice includes all the usual suspects we know and love like Margarita, Mexicana and Hawaiian; along with many other delicious choices such as Patata, The Glenferrie, Santoni Greco and The Greek Boy to name but a few. Pasta and shared plates also looked delicious, but I have not yet had the pleasure of sampling these delights.
The pizza’s I have tried are all delicious. Pizza is common place these days, but I really like the food on offer here. Some friends and I also came here for some shared desserts one night and they were lip smackingly yum too.
The ambiance is always good here. You feel at home either in a large group or more intimate scenario. I really love their roof top area too; perfect in those summer months. Prices are reasonable and the service always attentive, prompt and friendly.
All up, Santoni’s are Pizza winning.

Great spot to grab a pizza, wine and some sunshine (well — when the Melbourne weather remembers it’s summer.), thanks to the fab roof top.
I’ve been with a large group of 15 people and the staff coped pretty well. We were on the roof top on that occasion and didn’t need to wait long for the food. I really enjoyed the pizza that night — both the potato and the caramelised onion.
On my next visit my group of 7 were sat on the middle level. IT’S VERY LOUD AND YOU NEED TO TALK LIKE THIS TO HEAR ANYTHING!
While I enjoyed my pizza again (greco), it was lacking a little spice for my personal taste but still pretty tasty.
I find the staff here really friendly and they’re happy for you to hit the roof top for cocktails even if not ordering food. You would want to get there either very early, or quite late however because it fills up fast and bookings are recommended.

What a view on the rooftop on a clear Melbourne night!
With an extensive pizza selection, they also offer a variety of pasta, antipasto, salads and other goodies.
Great place to catch up with friends although not the cheapest, you will leave satisfied and make sure you check out the rooftop. They have heaters during winter and on a clear night nothing beats a good beer or glass of wine on the roof.

Pizza was great, nice thin crust and great quality toppings. Little on the small side but plenty of options to choose from and nice range of desserts to choose from. Banana mess was a hit with kids. Definitely head back to enjoy the rooftop on a warmer day than today.

Santoni Pizza is always good. The variety of gourmet pizzas are all worth trying. The Tandoori Chicken pizza and Souvlaki Pizza are particularly good.
