If you are after a burger with the bun taken straight from the fridge cut and put on cold. Head for the Kent!
Disappointed as the food in the past has been very good to excellent. The filling wasn’t up to scratch either.
Beer batter fries on the side were good.

Friendly, casual, the uni crowd frequents this pub. I found people relaxed and up for a chat. During the day it transforms into a sports bar (that I walked straight out of), but during the night it becomes a great little laid back nightspot. There’s dancing, food, and a number of areas to sit in. Bathrooms were clean too.
Edit: The food was very average in February 2015, so reduced this review by a star for that one. Also, the crowd can get a bit sleazy at times, so watch when you go.
