Went to grab a morning coffee and had a look at the menu. Then decided to try one of the brekkie meal and I am glad I gave it a shot. Great food, amazing service and easy parking availability. Couldn’t be better to start your day. 10⁄10

I know it’s a crazy combination but seriously, get on down to this place and order something you won’t get anywhere else. Or order some regular curries, whatever. It’s all damn fine here.

I have only been here once and the food was okay. It was a bit of an odd fusion and I may have to try this again. Service was good and fast, nice décor and relaxed atmosphere.

I have been to IndiMex quite a few times now, and whilst I have enjoyed some menu items more than others, the best part of the experience has been trying new dishes that are not readily available elsewhere. IndiMex has a breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, which makes it an attractive option regardless of the time of day. My favourite menu item would have to be the Bombay Club House Sirloin Steak Sandwich, which is a chargrilled steak sandwich with a twist — triple layered toasted naan bread is used instead of sliced bread. The IndiMex breakfast menu offers a lot of variety, ranging from the usual eggs and bacon /pancake options, to Indian /Mexican inspired meals. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that you have a good experience, the décor /atmosphere is nice and the food is reasonably priced. IndiMex is also good for a tea or coffee, in addition to being a licensed establishment. Limited street parking is available on Logan Road and Cleveland Street, in addition to the parking lot in the attached shopping complex. I highly recommend visiting IndiMex at least once, to see whether it is your cup of tea. Visiting in a group is beneficial, as you can order a few different dishes and share them around, to experience a bit of everything.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Indimex at Stones Corner this morning! Breakfast Enchiladas? Breakfast Nachos? Spicy Scrambled Eggs? This place is exactly what it says, Indian and Mexican Food made to work together, complimenting each other and making for some seriously different breakfast dishes. I tried some of a few different menu items as we with a group, my favourite probably being the Enchiladas, full of flavor, crispy on the outside with a hint of curry in the pastry, gooey and flavourful on the inside. Service was outstanding, you couldnt ask for more friendly attentive staff making sure our needs were met and double checking that we were enjoying our food Now we all know I love my coffee, I wasnt sure what to expect. But it turns out Indimex have there own special blend roasted for them by Dancing Bean, a local company. Its a very mild roast, smooth to drink, which when your food has such strong flavours happening is a really good palate cleanser . Now, getting there … street parking is available but is extremely limited. So go around to Cleveland Street and you will find parking in the shopping center complex that Indimex is out the front of, first 2 hours parking is free! Met some lovely people, ate some amazing food, definitely somewhere to go again!

Indimex is one of my favourite restaurants in the city, I love the combination of Mexican and Indian cuisine. The restaurant is a comfortable friendly atmosphere that everybody will love that being for a dinner date or a catch up with friends. I found that the chicken korma is by far my favourite dish the quality of the sauce is fantastic. Great place and I recommend it for anybody that hasn’t been there!

Indimex is just bizarre. Like, who thought Indian-Mexican fusion was a good idea?! I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, because it’s not a bad idea, but it really messes with your mind, it made me question my place within the universe. The positives: the portion sizes are huge! There’s take away and a bar. If you don’t like Mexican, you can have Indian, if you don’t like Indian you can have Mexican, or like the Old El Paso ad: «porque no los dos» The negatives: the décor is loud and a bit strange, but I guess that’s just Mexican-Indian fusion… The music is also annoying, it’s loud and it’s really just a lot of Shakira… On this visit I had the beef burrito, which is essentially your Mexican burrito filled with a beef curry and then covered in melted cheese. It’s served with Indian rice and lentils. Nothing special, but edible and very tasty. Well proportioned amounts of sour cream and guacamole. The spinach and cheese naan is a favourite, it’s cheesy and buttery and delicious. Indimex is an interesting addition to Stones Corner and something that I would probably bet on becoming a chain. It’s something you probably need to try once so give it a go, it’ll change you.

Been wanting to check out Indimex since receiving the mailer in my letterbox. Being a fan of Mexican the twist was appealing. First impressions, this looks like a clean and comfy restaurant with great décor and aged/vintage styling. We ere welcomed with a friendly greeting and seated ourselves due to it being quiet. Inspection of the menu is where it started to go downhill, whilst being advertised as a ‘Indian Mexican’ blend restaurant the menu was more of a bar/pub type menu with some flair and tendencies for an Indian/Mexican dish or blend of the 2. From Lamb to lasagna, French Fries to Quesadilla’s, Rogan Josh to Grilled Barramundi. I cant help but feel if they kept true to the theme of the restaurant opposed to offering EVERY kind of dish imaginable they would have also done better at cooking it. Cant be easy for the chef’s keeping on top of the plethora of dishes on this HUGE menu. The chicken(or lack thereof) enchilada seemed microwaved to me, screaming hot and overflowing with molten cheese. I couldn’t stomach even half of it. Enclosed in the Vege burrito was a mystery item looked like lemon but could have been squash… it still had its rind on which meant for picking and disposing throughout the endeavor. The 2 different beers I requested were ‘sold out’ with me drinking the last of another. Not once with my full plate sitting next to me did we get asked«how is everything» nor could we catch the server’s eyes in passing– almost like he new my meal was sitting on the table barely touched. When paying there wasn’t a point raised about the food and/or whether we were happy.
