One of the better curry places in Brisbane where we are so short of quality Indian/subcontinent food. Great service. Mutton curry is worth a try if one enjoys goat meat.

We sat down at 6:50pm, we ordered at 7pm and we left at 9pm with no food served to us. The staff are incompetent and completely unorganized. When we asked about why the food was still not served to us, they said«Well, the staff in the kitchen are having some issues.» Unacceptable. We were not even approached about how long the wait time will be, they just stood around the bar talking to each other. Horrible service, horrible night. Never going back here.

I was really impressed with this Indian restaurant. They go quite heavy on the cardamon and clove in comparison to other Indian restaurants, so if you like your Indian food subtle this is not the place for you. The aloo gobi(cauliflower and potatoes) was the best I have ever had, with a distinct smokey/tomatoey finish which is quite unusual for aloo ghobi, a dish that tends to be dominated by turmeric and coriander aromas(and colours) in most Indian restaurants back home in the United states. The butter chicken, and saag paneer were quite tasty. All the dishes tasted fresh, not swimming in a pool of oil like you can find in some of the bad Indian restaurants. The main reason I am avoiding giving this place 5 stars is that their Nan was not the right texture(although better than most takeaway establishments in Brisbane). Below the restaurant there is an Indian market full of spices and other ingredients. The service was reasonably attentive and the male servers were impeccably dressed in colourful suits that could of come out of the 1980s disco age in the USA.
