Our party of four came to this restaurant early on a Sunday night. My husband had checked the menus of some other Indian Restaurants on Jetty Rd and found the main courses to be between $ 25-$ 30. We were having a meal with some of our adult children with the intention of paying the bill… We tried this restaurant because the main courses are between $ 15-$ 17. We weren’t worried at all about climbing the stairs. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the food was tasty, generous sized serves and we felt authentic. The condiments were generous and the naan bread very good indeed. We had a lovely night and were pleasantly surprised that the total cost(soft drinks included, it was Sunday night) came to $ 105

While we never actually visited the restaurant we had a takeaway from Pride Of India. We used their online ordering service which was easy and pain free and all the info regarding ingredients and prices are there. The wait was ok, being an hour on a sat night! The guy found the house easily, which is good as most delivery drivers can’t! He was friendly and reminded us to use them again and left a menu and some vouchers for future use! The only problem we then came across was the food was slightly cold and needed a blast in the microwave… However the food was good(especially the butter chicken!!!) and very tasty! I would use them again but would probably visit to collect or dine in next time.

Located upstairs above Extreme Borders, Pride of India, as the name suggests, is an Indian restaurant. There is the option of sitting inside or out on the balcony with a view of Jetty Road below. I have been here a few times and the butter chicken is really good. The nan bread is also worth having as an entrée. And I’d also suggest sitting out on the balcony if it’s good weather. The staff here are really nice and the last time I went here they had a special offer which bought the bill total down a bit. So check it out and you may be surprised.
