KITCHENNIGHTMARESTAYAWAY. If you get stuck going here the Ribs are your only hope. Went out for a group birthday party. 1. Burnt patty on Wagu Burger 2. Cold fish and still frozen prawns on surf and turf. 3. Carrot soup inedible as if spices jar had fallen in. 4. Out of bangers in bangers and mash. 5. Mushroom chicken small and dry. 6. Steaks overcooked *Ribs were actually good* We waited an hour in a mostly empty restaurant for cold bad food. In short stay away.

Woeful — over an hour to be served after we ordered. Then the steaks were undercooked, the soggy chips were smothered in MSG and the puny pre prepared bowl of salad was just sad. Had to go and find hiding wait staff. «Milk shake machine was broken» Steak tastes ok, once we got it. Discount sought, and received!

The location is the star here — even though it was a little chilly when we visited in September, we couldn’t resist sitting on the back patio facing the beach and the setting sun. My prime rib was cooked nicely, but was a little under-seasoned. The partner had a camel burger and it had an almost sausage-y /meatloaf-y kind of taste to it, which was not unwelcome, but we’re not sure how dressed up the meat was and how much pure camel we were really getting a chance to taste. The bun was a little dry, too. Still, all in all, this was a good meal and a nice setting, so I’d have no reservations recommending it, especially given the expansive menu where folks are sure to land on something appetizing. If you’re attempting to avoid a chain/franchise aesthetic at moderate to spendy prices, you’ll want to move along.

This place is a fun place to eat in a great location, but the food and service are pretty average and screams tourist. I came here once with a larger party and it mostly went without any hiccups, so that might be something to consider. The food itself is very touristy, but the menu is very large. Steaks for the most part are reasonable in quality and price, but nothing spectacular. The crocodile and shrimp I have had were overcooked. I just wouldn’t come here expecting something different and/or sophisticated, it is a just a fun steakhouse in a nice location. I wouldn’t probably wouldn’t recommend this place to many people, BUT, I wouldn’t tell people not to go here either; mainly because it has a fun atmosphere.

I’ll keep this simple. In the immortal words of one Miss L. Dew, this place is a didgeridon’t.

So I really wanted to like this place. I mean, I loved it’s cousin — Outback Steakhouse — in Hawaii, so I was primed for this bad boy. Time to get my steak on, ooh yeah baby baby hit me one more time. With meat. Hit me with meat. Lots of it, char-grilled and juicier than a Kardashian’s bott-bott. Two stars was all I could muster(muster. .. outback. .. yeah? Feeling that? No? Okay, fine, agreed, no more awful puns) and even that was a stretch. They forgot the kangaroo from the tasting platter, the saddle burner prawns ‘served in a tent’ sounded intriguing but there was no tent nor anything resembling a tent to speak of when it came. Ba-bow. My $ 35 T-bone that I ordered medium rare came medium well. How can a steakhouse make an error like that? This is your bread and butter. Service. .. meh. Got the feeling they didn’t like us very much. And this joint really ain’t cheap, so. .. why? Disappointment to the Pepsi Max. Oh and Home & Away was on the TV. Just what I want to see when I’m eating a $ 35 steak.

Outstanding dinning experience! Never have I eaten at a restraunt with so many different steak options. I’ve been back several times now because I love it that much, and I’m slowly working my way through the entire menu! My favorite so far would have to be the fiery red rock steak… the cheese sauce mixed with the chillies really works well, but there’s a lot of tough competition on the menu that sounds great that I’m yet to try.

Great location, especially at sunset. My recollection of the place(it’s been quite a few months now) was that there was lots of glass. I had a rump steak. and it was really quite good. I wasn’t expecting much, because places like this just make me think ‘mass produced drivel’, but I was really quite pleasantly surprised. I liked it.

Known for its large range of steaks and Jack’s challenge(where you have to eat the entire meal in 30 minutes or less and you will win Outback Jacks t-shirt and voucher for the next visit) Outback Jacks is a popular place to come. I have never had steak from here, but I will one day. I have, however, tried the burgers. I found the burgers hard to eat due to the toughness of the bread(I think it was damper), so that ruined my experience a little but it still tasted good. The great thing about Outback Jacks on the Marina is there is a few tables out the back with a great view of the beach. It was peaceful sitting here one week night watching the sun go down as we enjoyed our meals. The staff are also pretty friendly and make you feel welcome.
