If you’re one of those people lucky enough to be able to eat as much chocolate as you want without worrying about your waist, wallet or blood glucose levels, then is one very cool and comfortable place to do it. There are lots of delicious choices, including the most extensive and delicious variety of hot chocolates I can remember seeing anywhere. Sadly I’m one of those people who has to find other ways to elevate Serotonin levels so enjoy it while you can.

When it comes to chocolate. Yes. One thing, the prices are a bit steep on quite a few menus items. But yeah. This place, get on it.

Didn’t mind the joint. Of course you come to the place for the chocolate but the coffee wasn’t too bad either, bit weak, but good. Get in, give it a go. Will not regret it.

This was the second time i’ve been to Max Brenner and i feel like i should let everyone know about my experience here. Every time i walk pass this shop, looking at the decoration of it, i think, oh my what a lovely place to be. So one day i decided to go in and have something! I ordered a tutti frutti waffle, a fondue of some sort that came with 2 chocolate dipping and strawberry, banana cake, banana and marshmellows(i forgot the name of it). The waffle was pretty amazing and it came with ice cream. Totally enjoyed both the dishes but i was too full to try out the pizza with chocolate topping. This brings me to my second trip to Max Brenner. Was really excited about going there to test it out, and i even brought a friend along this time as it’s always nice to share good things with others! However, i was rather disappointed with this visit. I ordered a choc-banana pizza and paid for it, then i sat there waiting while visiting the small shop they have near the entrance. Approximately 5 minutes later the staff came and told me that they have sold out of pizza crusts and asked if i would like to have something else, which was fine by me. But after looking at the menu i decided to get a refund instead. The staff was happy to do that which was good. So to get a refund, i had to wait for another 5 minutes as only one person knew how to do the refund. I found the whole process was rather stupid as the person had to fill in a form, get me to sign it, leave my details etc. Also, while waiting for the person who knew how to do the refund, a line was forming and it was just rather uncomfortable having other customer staring at u waiting. She did apologise and said the refund will be processed on monday as they have to fax it over to the head office before it can be done. I was really unhappy with the process and would have given them a 1 star if it wasnt for the chocolate. So… Even though i still want to try the pizza, i think after this tedious experience, i would rather just not try it. A word of advice, if they run out of things u ordered, just get whatever they can offer u. The refund process is just stupid.

If you are a chocoholic this is the place for you!!! The quality of the chocolate in this place rocks. The desserts are all based around the use of chocolate. Babka covered in liquid chocolate, crepes with bananas drizzled in liquid chocolate, strawberries served with a bowl of liquid chocolate, cinnamon scrolls topped with liquid chocolate… you get the picture. Everything on a plate drizzled in liquid chocolate. The coffee is strong so it’s not for the faint hearted, but it’s a great way to cut the richness of the desserts. The hot chocolate is absolute pure heaven. How many times have you had a hot chocolate and it just tastes like hot milk. Well not here. And they have different flavoured hot chocolate too: mint, Mexican Spicy, Danish Toffee, Coconut, etc… and all in the choice of dark, milk or white chocolate. This dessert paradise just has to be visited to be believed.

Oh. My. God. The Italian milk hot chocolate at Max Brenner rocks. Thick, creamy chocolately goodness, that almost tastes like you are drinking pure melted chocolate. Yes, it’s sickly sweet, but sooooo good. Max brenner not only do an array of hot chocolate, cold and iced drinks, they also do every dessert involving chocolate imagineable, from waffles, to strawberries and chocolate, to babka and chocolate(my fave). The store itself is cute and cosy, and the staff here are friendly.
