Bossanova Churrascaria

Do not come here with your boyfriend unless you’re at that lovely comfortable stage where you don’t mind pigging out in front of each other. I would have eaten so much more!
GOD DAMN THE FOOD IS GOOD! And for $ 30 it just kept coming! The potato side dish was especially divine, so golden and crunchy, but not at all oily! The meats were just cooked to perfection and I really love the way the staff come around and slice it right in front of you.
There’s not much else to say really! Not too flash, but with food this good it really doesn’t have to be.

Brazilian churrascarias have been the trend for a while now, and deservedly so. Who doesn’t want unlimited servings of succulent meats of all kind? Glebe may not have the best churrasco in the city, but Bossa Nova is still a fantastic experience. For around $ 35, you get unlimited meat and sides, which include fries, salads, and garlic bread. All the sides are fresh and delicious on their own, too. There is also an option to add seafood to your dinner, but it becomes much more expensive. I was very pleased with the food here. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. I have say that one of the greatest parts of the night was dessert. We had a traditional Brazilian dessert of grilled pineapple, which was slightly caramelized. YUM. Recently, Bossa Nova has expanded to include a take away restaurant to their operations, where you can buy roast chicken, meats, and seafood.
