The service and ambiance here is amazing. I have had many massages and each have been with a very professional therapists. I highly recommend the remedial massage for any sports injury. They do wonders.

Lovely therapists. We’ve come here twice and have been just as impressed as the first time. It’s got a lovely vibe, some nice touches and also accepts hicaps for those who have health insurance. We’ve only come here for the massage, but there are a tonne of other options which I can’t vouch for as I haven’t tried. If you can, get Catalina as your therapist — she’s lovely. The only thing that takes away from the place is coming through a shop front and its on Glebe Pt Rd, so all that relaxation tends to be taken away when you exit the place.

Despite being a girl I’m not one to get myself pampered, so when I received a gift card for Nature’s Energy for my birthday, I was quietly happy at the chance to try it. I started with the aptly named Tranquillity Facial($ 70 for 45 mins) followed by a Stress Relief Massage($ 90 for 60 mins). Both treatments were relaxing, enjoyable and extremely professional. I walked out on a natural high. And while I wouldn’t spend this kind of money on myself any time soon, I would definitely recommend it for others or as a thoughtful gift idea.

Luckily for me, I have friends who know me inside and out. This means that they know of my tendency to stress out easily and frequently. So as a thoughtful gift, I was given a voucher to Nature’s Energy for a therapeutic massage. When I arrived at Nature’s Energy, I was a bit put off by the appearance. It looked like a generic holistic shop. But once inside, I was impressed by the layout. There is a little courtyard that is partly covered, with a bunch of hallways and rooms. There is a private hot tub and massage facilities out here. I decided to add the bath session for $ 17 extra. When the time came, I was led by my masseuse to the treatment room(unfortunately, I forgot the name of my masseuse). I was very satisfied with my massage, which was firm and very tranquil. It was the perfect combination of rehabilitation, relaxation, and rejuvenation. I will definitely come back here for my next massage, feel free to get me one as a gift!

I’m fond of making up a pot of herbal tea with a pinch of this and that, stirring it all together and perhaps, just perhaps, muttering something inaudible under my breath before pouring. Not in a cauldron, but I can pretend. Nature’s Energy has a good range of such herbal teas, with detailed info on what’s supposedly good for what(lavender for fatigue, rose petals for a tired liver, a pinch of echinacea for the immune system) as well as lots of pre-mixed blends. Not to mention the obligatory smudge sticks, Buddhas, crystal jewellery and essential oils. Although if you take them up on the written offer to bring out the ‘intuitive cards’ to help you decide which oil to buy, perhaps some assertiveness training might be order. Pick whatever one smells nice to you. Really. That’s all it is. The staff were very friendly when I checked out the tea the other day, I’m off to light a fire and cackle maniacally…

Nature’s Energy will bring out the inner goddess in you. Or perhaps the inner hippie. Or maybe even the inner voodoo healer. Either way, there’s a lot to be found inside this little Glebe shop(with a location also in Balmain) that will make your chakras sing. I went in the other day in search of something that would make my apartment smell less like a rugby locker room and more like the Taj Mahal. To my delight, there were dozens of incense varieties, complete with many types of decorative holders. In an attempt to keep the whole house from smelling like Burning Man circa 1975, I chose a calming vanilla scent and also some cinnamon. In the market for heading teas? There are many to be found here. If you’re feeling the need to rid your body of toxins, lose weigh, or resolve several other health problems, you will find something in Nature’s Energy to sort you out. Alternatively, if you are believer in the healing power of rocks and stones, there is a huge selection here as well. If you’re really looking to treat yourself, you can book a spa and sauna appointment here. $ 19 will buy you 30 min, which is a small price to pay for detoxification and total relaxation. What’s more, Nature’s Energy offers a whole list of other treatments including remedial massage, holistic beauty, waxing, tinting and hair treatments. Book yourself in for an appointment and I’m sure you’ll be changing that mantra in no time.
