Salvation Army

Each Salvation Army store is different depending on the donations made in that area, and because of that, each has the opportunity to provide you with a great bargain! The Henley Beach store is relatively small but has quite a large shoe and handbag collection. There was also a number of small bookcases, desks and chairs which is great as furniture is often sparse at some stores.
The volunteer behind the desk was very lovely when I asked her for a specific item and although she had a VERY thick European accent that I could barely understand she was very friendly. While I was there, 6 or 7 people came in within the next five or ten minutes which further demonstrates its popularity. Not the biggest one I have seen but offers a similar range of clothing, bric a brac and the occasional piece of furniture.
