Salvation Army Thrift Store

There are usually a few good quality items of furniture to be found in this store but they pretty much only have the big things in the window display. The rest of the space is given over to clothes, LOTS of shoes, bags and bric a brac. They also have quite a good jewellery display and I’ve seen some really good ladies gold watches there for around the $ 40 /​$ 50 mark.
Seems to be really good for ladies tops and not as good for dresses, but of course as per every op shop this just depends on the stock they have at the time. I’ve always found the staff really helpful and friendly and they’ve even rounded prices down for me before which is pretty rare in these places. I think this is because they are paid staff so they have a bit more freedom.
