Far Pavillions

The word exotic comes to mind when I think of Far Pavilions. I’ve been putting off visiting this place because the very name conjures up images of nasty tiger stripes and leopard spotted prints. However, it was next door to Domayne in the very convenient Homemaker City, I decided to pop in.
I was pleasantly surprised by their range of exotic yet tasteful furniture. Yes, there was one ugly stripe print fabric (see attached photo) but there were also some lounge chairs with wide, generous seats, a comfortable back rest, sitting low off the ground and upholstered in rich fabrics (see gorgeous photo). I was itching to curl up in one of their chairs and read my book only it was already 4:30 in the afternoon and I was really after an outdoor dining set.
It’s reasonably priced as well, given their quality and originality. Far Pavilions is definitely worth checking out for home wares and furnishings. If you fall in love with their style but you’re not loving their prices, there is a seoncds, samples and discontinued outlet in Salisbury. However, I was pretty happy with the Far Pavilions at Homemaker City in the Valley. The staff was unpretentious and left me alone to browse, the parking was easy and this particular Homemaker City has four or five different styles of furniture shops in a row for convenient shopping.
