I was beyond determined to get into Eleven as a lot of my friends have been denied entry for being«too casual» or «too slutty» so of course, I wanted to be the friend that got in. My ambition worked well. A few friends and I arrived last night around 10PM, the bouncer lingered on my ID the longest, rumour has it that they only want 25+ year olds… I wouldn’t want any of the 18 year old girls I’ve seen limping drunkly around the valley on a weekend anywhere close to a roof either. Anyway, I’m 22 and my friends are all over 25, we decided that they would show their IDs first and id be last. Whether age really determines your entry or not at Eleven, it worked. Enjoy the ride up the fancy elevator. Girls, don’t let the mirrored walls and ceilings in there get ya down, just don’t look at them. Seriously. The view is fantastic, a full 360 of Brisbane. The patrons? Men going through their midlife crisis, Cougars galore, and the 20+ year olds like us that want to play dress up for the night, if only for bragging rights. The drinks aren’t overly expensive, a friend bought 3 drinks for us totalling to $ 36. Eleven isn’t where you go for fun and dance, but maybe a date or just a few quiet cocktails with your friends. I’d love to return for a lunch one day, I’m guessing the view will be even more spectacular.

I really like this place. I actually came here with a few friends from Melbourne while they were up. The atmosphere was wicked, the place is packed but the view makes it all worth it. The thing I like a lot about Eleven Rooftop Bar is that they prefer people who have booked, they’re super strict with dress code and if they smell any more than standard intoxication they won’t let you through the doors to get into the building. Essentially you have to get past 2 security guards to get into the building and then you take the lifts to the rooftop. I like the fact they are«strict» because the crowd you get is not going to create some brawl for no reason. We went on a Friday and it was packed with business men in suits but I’m sure this would be different on a Saturday night. Eleven also does proper meals, though for the price and general quality I’d say eat somewhere else. It’s expensive and«gourmet» but for what you get I’d say it would be worth eating somewhere else first. I’d come here for the usual drinks and scenic view. It’s just nice looking from a rooftop over the valley/city. It’s something different that we don’t get a lot of in Brisbane. But I would like to say it would awesome if there were some true rooftop bars in the inner city — the view would be wicked then.

Are you middle aged, pretentious and in need of a new location to show off your Tommy Hilfiger cardigan draped casually over your RL Polo covered shoulders? Then go to Eleven on a Thursday night after work — you’ll fit right in. Want to sit in a booth? Too bad, they’re all«reserved». There’s nobody in them, of course, but how else would you know how lacking in elitism you are by being forced to perch on a much-less-glamorous stool? Enjoy trendy, tasty cocktails? Cool! Eleven serve a limited smattering of «predictable» cocktails at upmarket prices, with«local pub quality» garnishes and presentation. Think a $ 17.00 «dark and stormy» as one of their highlighted menu features, and you’ll understand. There’s also bar food but good luck beating away the middle aged socialites lingering at the bar to chat so as to order some! Oh and you can forget eating it from your perch on the stool! That’s for plebs and people who don’t own high street brands, like Tommy and Ralph. Ugh!

11 stories high. 270 degree views of the Brisbane skyline. If a sophisticated rooftop bar experience is what you seek, then Eleven Rooftop Bar may just provide what you are looking for. From bar-style seats with an Eames-vibe, to booth dining there’s a space for the laid-back after work drink to a group dinner with a stunning backdrop. As well as a comprehensive drinks menu, Eleven(brought to us by the same folks behind Jetty) offer a casual dining menu from bar snacks(up your snack game and go for the oyster gin & juice half dozen) through to more substantial offerings such as beef cheeks and mash. While you can’t order food at the bar, there are roaming wait staff happy to take both your food and drink orders from where you sit. And having been twice now I’d say a visit earlier in the week is best for enjoying this magnificent venue in a more relaxed manner. By the end of the week it’s showing just how well it can hold 250 people and for those in for a more dialed down experience you might find yourself feeling slightly claustrophobic. To save disappointment make a reservation for group dinners! If you’re out to impress or just want a whole new perspective on our city this is the bar to do it! Pro Tip: There’s a $ 20 minimum for EFTPOS.

Beautiful views and a great range of spirits! Sophisticated feel, good for after work drinks or a small group. Booths are also offered for those wanting to dine in. But the views are the draw card for this bar!

Eleven rooftop bar offers amazing views of the city perched way up high on the 11 floor. There are two bars on the eastern and western sides linked by table seating running along the Ann St side. Good vibe with soft lighting, good music loud but not too loud providing a great bar/lounge atmosphere. Food available with a good selection of drink(Newstead Amber on tap) although don’t expect 20 or more craft beers on tap like most of the new bars in town. The only downside of this bar was the lack of toilets(only one male, three female plus the one disabled) for somewhere that can take up to 250 people. This is thanks to the city council according to the owner. All in all a great addition to the Valley scene only two to three blocks down from The Beat!
