Specialties
A slice of New Orleans in Fortitude Valley, Papa Jack’s takes you on a journey into the heartland of the Creole South, with delectable cocktails, finger lickin’ cuisine and live soul, funk, RnB, Jazz and Blues across the weekend.
Boasting one of the country’s best bar teams, it is not hard to see why this vibrant tribute to the Crescent City, located just off the M&A Lane, was awarded Best Bar (Qld) at the 2014 Australian Bar Awards.
Try the house-brewed shrub of the week, spiked with spiced rum and topped with soda or perhaps a New Orleans classic such as the Sazerac which is pouring on tap.
The food menu is designed to share including favourites such as Pulled Pork Boudin balls, Po’ Boys, Jambalaya, Corn Bread, JD & Coke Ribs and more with dishes drawing the fantastic array of influences from the various cultures of New Orleans: French, Native American, African, Caribbean, Italian, Spanish, German, and Portuguese, to name a few. These roots allow for a depth of flavour diistinctive of America’s most colourful city.
