We love this little neighbourhood Ethiopian joint for breakfast or a clove scented coffee on the terrace. The«ful» brekky is a divine bowl of fava beans smashed with spices, olive oil and garlic, topped with boiled egg and served with a sliced baguette(they don’t skimp on the bread here!). It’s delicious, filling, and a steal at only 10 or so dollars. On Fridays and Saturdays you can rock up for their all you can eat lunch buffet featuring stews, injera bread, and salads. Coffee and French pastries(the owners wife is French) can be enjoyed anytime but are especially nice taken out front watching the Footscray«parade» go by. Friendly service and a homey atmosphere round out this little gem.

If you ever wanted to try African cuisine, I’d definitely recommend this café for all of you. Their place is not the fanciest place, nor super comfortable but it’s not bad either. The place is clean and great for groups or just cheeky solo trip. They got this amazing 14 dollars all you can eat deal during the day, they serve completely everything from veggies, bread, rice, chicken, lamb and beef! So even if you’re vegetarian you’ll be able to eat at least 3 different dishes. Most of the food they got is curry based, so if you don’t like curry this is not a place to go. Nether less the food is served warm and they serve you amazing strong chai tea that taste like nutmeg! The staffs are definitely super friendly and they’re very welcoming too :)

Great atmosphere, service and food. We came for breakfast and were not dissapointed. The ‘silts’ were delicious and the bread so fresh. Coffee was awesome too! Highly recommend
