This fruit shop was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Henley, but regularly makes the trip to Grange for this shop. She says the fruit is always fresh and lasts much longer. The quality of the shop is apparent, and everything is very nicely presented. However the prices have always turned me away. They are consistently more expensive, and I think that if I am paying a much higher price for my fruit and veg, I want it to be organic. However, if the quality of your food concerns you, then this is a good fresh food option. I would be more likely to come here for cheese, because for that I’ll pay a little more and get something good quality. I suppose it’s all about your priorities, and this doesn’t reflect very well on mine. Appealing to the local Italian community, alongside the cheeses is a nice range of cured meats, biscotti, jams and preserves and other fine dairy foods. It’s a lovely little shop in terms of quality and range, and I have not been able to fault the fresh food I’ve bought here.
