Crème café-restaurant

Always fabulous food and service here. I’ve eaten just about everything on the menu and it’s all been great! It is extremely popular, especially on weekends, so does get noisy, but this certainly doesn’t impact the food at all. Kids meals are also excellent and my 8 year old will eat things here she won’t eat anywhere else. I will keep coming back here

Crème was chosen as the venue for a family dinner. It was an extremely busy Wednesday evening, perhaps that’s the reason the service was a little slow. With its popularity it’s also noisy. I’m happy to say that all 7 in our group were very pleased with our meals which included seafood risotto, chicken breast risotto (both generous portions), lamb souvlaki (could easily serve 2), beef burger, delicious crispy eggplant chips, lamb pizza & chicken pizza (quite large, good to share). There’s also an outdoor area at the front which was popular with patrons. Prices are reasonable and yes I will come back again.

Nice ambience but we waited super long for food and order was wrong. Hard to get a carpark nearby as well. Food was tasty and generous in size.

The service is much better than I was expecting. Loved their coffee even if it was a little bit warm but the taste was amazing. We ordered eggplant chips which was a big disappoint because they were over cocked. Also, we had a chicken breast risotto and it was okay and a bit too garlicky. Also we had a lamb wrap which was the only good thing for today. Overall we score them 3 out of 5

Went there for a late lunch on a public holiday. Found the place to be reasonably busy but very noisy. Certainly wasn’t the time for a quiet conversation and in the end caused us to eat a little quicker than we normally would have.
That said, the food was very nice, and reasonably priced café style fare. Service was good although took effort on a couple of occasions to get the attention of the staff. Lowlight of the experience was finishing off with a barely warm coffee that should’ve been sent back … or not sent out in the first place.
I will go back at some point to try the breakfast menu, and, given the number of alternatives in the area that’s a positive enough review on its own.

My experience for a late night dinner was really good, unlike the other reviews, everything was fine, the waitress friendly, we had a laugh about something. The food was good, one of the better suburban cafes, particularly in the area. I look forward to returning for breakfast.

My companion and I decided to share two appetisers, Portugese Chicken Skewers and Eggplant Chips. The serving of skewers is normally three but we asked for four without any problems. They were delicious. A waitress came out with Eggplant chips, offered to one table, refused, offered to the next table. Asked the waitress where our chips were and the woman at the next table said she had them. Wait fir another bowl. They were crisp and yummy. We had both ordered Lamb Souvlaki. They arrived after a longer than usual wait. The fat chips were to be recommended, crisp outside and fluffy inside. The lamb was not rare but raw on the inside and cold, we sent them back. When there is an opened kitchen the chef needs to learn not to have disagreements over your food with the waitress. We were told that the lamb is always cooked this way. Time to test dessert. Wanting to try something made on the premises but was advised to try something else. The cake we shared was Chocolate Ripple, it was very good and had a taste reminiscent to the one Mum used to make. Delays weren’t helped by the fact that we were served by three waitresses, they need to learn not to spill drinks on the table and to carry coffee without slopping into the saucer. Although we booked a day ahead, we were not advised that they didn’t have a licence. The food, other than the way the lamb was cooked was excellent, the service not to be recommended.
