East Cafe & Vietnamese Bistro

Foods always great here, good coffee too, never a complaint, eat here all the time. Great marinaded dishes and the cooked meals are amazing.
Service is always good.

Stopped in for some breakfast phở and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was quick for take away but I was pretty disappointed they didn’t throw some sriracha and hoisin sauces in the bag, I could have really used those when I got back to the hotel to eat! To be honest it hardly needed it, the broth had deep flavor without being heavy, I’m mostly just used to the routine of adding them (would have still liked them though). Also the iced coffee was quite small, but maybe that’s just an American in Australia complaining about sizes ;)

Go here a good bit as it is really near work.
The food is always good & lots of choices. Their rice wraps are delicious & their hot food is really good too. There is always a crowd here at lunchtime so get in early or order by phoning in — beat the queues!
They have some great choices for breakfast too. The kale breakfast is lovely.
The coffee is good but sometimes can be a bit of a miss! Also, sometimes the queues for a coffee & the time it takes can not be worth the bother with so many other coffee places around.
As for the juices they seem to not understand that if you order a juice you should be put in the queue in the order that you ordered. Most of the time they put you to the end of the queue & this can be really annoying as mentioned above lots of people ordering coffee & you are now very late for work after waiting 20 minutes.
Staff are super friendly.

Love east! Basically here 4 times a week grabbing my morning coffee (which is always made perfectly and amazingly priced). Breakfast wraps are nice! They have a massive range of fresh toasties. The bread they use gives the bomb and their viet pork rolls are the best in Perth. Service is great!

My new favorite restaurant in Perth! You walk in, try to grab a menu and then get in the back of the line to order your food. Take the time to grab a drink from the refrigerator or order coffee farther along in line. The first station is baguettes you can have made with various meats & toppings. The second station is the ready made cold station with boxes of vermicelli rice paper rolls filled with veggies, prawns, chicken, etc – grab a box to go and these are delicious. I grabbed a box to eat as a starter with sriracha sauce at a table. Next up is a case of desserts and ready made sandwiches. Lastly, you get to the register, order your mains from the menu and pay. Then, you go sit to wait. The delicious foods are brought to you at your table. We ordered the #14 (Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong – rice noodles with grilled pork, fried spring rolls and peanuts) & #15 (Mi Xao – chicken – though you can get with other proteins – with stir fried egg noodles and Asian veggies). These were both delicious. Service was quick, über-​professional and with a smile even after a really busy lunch hour. The staff here can’t be commended enough. Their breakfast menu looks wonderful too with western-​style favorites. I can hardly wait to go back and try them all! I grabbed a bagel and muffins on the way out – the bagel was the best I’ve had in Perth! Turns out they get theirs from this company called Holy Bagel: they make a variety of fresh bagels exactly like those you get in New York! My bagel prayers have been answered at last. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough. You must try them now!!!

I have had lunch here a couple of times and was brought here by a regular for the Banh Mi rolls. They are so yummy and come in bbq pork and roast pork (with crackling) and both are great. They are only $ 6.50, so are half the price of most lunch deli rolls.
They also do good coffee, smoothies and other takeaway lunches! If you need lunch and work in the city go here!

These guys and girls do a busy trade so if you want to eat in get here early! Once you have tried the food you will see why they are oh so popular!
Considering how under the pump the staff are they still manage to be friendly and informative for which I give them top marks for too.
On the food front they offer both ready to go sandwiches and some Asian dishes; plus an assortment of Western and Eastern dishes which are prepared upon order; having mostly ordered either the noodles or soups for lunch I can say it is very tasty, well priced and very convenient for this end if town.

Popped in today for takeaway Banh Mi rolls for me & some co-​workers
We all chose the BBQ pork and I got a green Kale Smoothie.
Everything was delicious and the rolls were demolished in record time!
$ 6.50 for a massive roll is great value in the CBD!
The rolls were packed with tasty bbq pork, coriander, cucumber, carrot, chilli, pâté, all the usual suspects.
Would definitely recommend it and this is going to become a lunchtime favourite!
