For the same price at Subway, you can have an average or below average meal. The rolls here are crisp and actually fresh, and hold together well-more care goes into them.

The rolls were cheaper last summer when they had just opened, but they are still good value for money. You can get a huge 12″ roll which is basically two meals for $ 12 something. The line at lunchtime is out the door, which should serve as an indication of how tasty their product is. That being said, service is friendly, prompt, and food is worth the short wait. If you’re not in the mood for a sandwich they have phở and some fried spring rolls or rice paper summer rolls. The spring rolls are good, and the phở is tolerable but nothing to write home about. If you’re coming here you should really just get the chicken delight or a pork roll. I don’t have a lot of Vietnamese places near home so I have tried as many as possible while in Sydney… this is by far the best for rolls. I always get the chicken delight, and the chicken here is the highest quality, all white meat cuts, no gristle or sketchy bits, right amount of sauce, mayo with a dash of soy and garlic I think. Be warned, the optional chilli is plentiful and HOT — your mouth will be red for an hour afterwards, but I love the burn.

My new lunchtime favourite. Love their classic shredded(pork) bread roll. SO good and super cheap too. The regular is $ 5.90 and is more than enough. Might I recommend you order light on the chili unless you’re used to that type of heat. I was almost in tears the first time I tried it — very spicy if you’re not expecting it. I still need to try their rice paper rolls and soup. I’ll get there eventually. It’s a small shop and they only offer takeaway. It’s always busy at lunch, but the line moves quickly so don’t let that keep you away. They are really friendly and I’ve been really impressed by that there. It’s become a bit of a weekly habit now.

I saw a voucher for 5 vietnamese sandwich rolls for $ 15, which was a pretty good deal so I bought it. Its not close to my work, about a 15 – 20 minute walk from the CBD, but figured the walk would be nice and it’d be a bit of exercise. So in the span of maybe two months, I ordered these rolls for lunch. First tried the veggie ham roll, which was really good. They have the option of brown or white bread and they put loads of coriander, carrots and chilies that are delicious but burn your mouth. The staff is super friendly and if you call ahead you can get the roll pretty quick. It does get busy around lunch time. I tried the chicken roll — yummy, the traditional vietnamese pork roll, also very tasty and the recovery roll — which is a bit«australianized» as it is a chicken breast with avocado. It’s a very«subway» kind of sandwich, but they do add the coriander and chilis, making it better. Tried to get the shredded pork roll once but they ran out. Definitely like this place, would probably get it more if it wasn’t so out of the way.
