While the pies are decent, they are no where need good enough to justify the exorbitant price they charge for them. Couple this with the unfriendly service, especially from the older blonde woman, and your left thinking why you bothered to come here. The building itself is in a bit of a run down state, so clearly someone is sitting on a big pile of cash, as the presumably large profits clearly aren’t being put back into the maintenance of the site.

Love your Pies, Pie in the Sky in one of the best spots to get a hot meat or fresh fruit pie. On a sunny weekend you can have 30+ motorcycles parked out front with cars and bicycles among the groups of people and families. The pies are stuffed full of meat with other options on the menu. Coffee can be hit or miss depending on whom is manning the coffee machine. This is a top spot especially if you love a drive or ride on quiet back roads.

Well, I wanted to give this place more than what I have but in all conscience(most of which lies in tattered misery a lot of the time), I simply can’t. * Presentation — if not for a million-dollar view? Meh… grubby outdoor plastic furniture, badly needs some cleaning up on the exterior and some paint. * Staff — if unsmiling, monosyllabic grunting is your primary method of communication, then you’ll love it here. They also set record times for how long it takes to serve one coffee. * Food — The pies are ridiculously overpriced but they’re very good, fresh and hot. This, coupled with the setting, makes the place bearable. But I like more than bearable when paying a premium price for standard fare. It’s all they do, so the prices could be better and so could the service. I always leave the place feeling like I should’ve double-dosed on happy pills. But I do like the view. Seems there has to be a trade-off for everything…

A popular pit stop(pardon the pun) for riders of two wheeled vehicles(human and engine powered) as they scale the twists and turns of Mount White. Ultimately, this is really a place to stop between laps of the Old Pacific Highway and enjoy and pie and/or a coffee while talking bikes with mates or having a perv on the range of crotch rockets on display. The pies are value for money and generally pretty tasty. The coffee is actually not as bad as you might think. If you a into bikes, live in Sydney, and have not been here then what rock have you be living under.
