Hidden little gem of an Italian place. Found it by accident because another nearby Italian was too busy. Very authentic, insanely friendly staff, food was so surprisingly good. Try the(homemade) ravioli– you will not be disappointed. Plus they make homemade gluten free pasta! Such a rarity. Only lose one star for the atmosphere– pretty noisy if you sit inside.

Cheeky little Italian. We came across this little gem hidden away on Preston Street looking for a last minute dinner idea after our plans to cook went awry. They are also good value for the Entertainment book deal so that is 25% off your meal — good business in my opinion. Currently open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner only, we were told upon paying our bill that in the coming weeks they will be open for Lunch on Friday and dinner on Sunday also. This place is BYO only(sorry I didn’t manage to find out the corkage but I imagine $ 5 or so). I chose the Linguine allo scoglio(tossed with fresh seafood and shellfish in a white wine sauce) and my word, I am still thinking about it now(it was that good). As we were told by the owner: If the food is fresh, there is no need to pack on the sauce. A very tasty dish that had you wanting more. Susan chose the Scaloppine(Slices of Veal, pan-fried and covered in fresh mushrooms, white wine and cream sauce and served with vegetables). The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce worked well with the dish. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary bread with dipping oil«on the house». The service was warm and friendly. The chefs are fresh from Italy and that translates into the flavours in the dishes. The Tiramisu was our choice for a shared dessert(we were almost full by the time dessert came around) and this was served elegantly in a round clear glass. The flavours worked well in this dish also. All in all, a great little Italian restaurant that provides a fair serving of authentic Italian food for a fair price.
