Sybil’s

I haven’t actually brought anything from this store, but I am a fan of it on principle. Sybil’s is a clothing store for women sized between 16 and 32.
Not many women fit the mould of models we find in magazines or on television. Even if we are in the smaller size groupings, even then it doesn’t mean we’re perfect. I’m a pear shape– 10 on the top, 14 on the bottom. That isn’t perfect, and neither is anyone else I know.
The clothes at Sybil’s are comfortable and elegant. (You won’t find any mu mu’s here). Of everything there, I noticed that there are a lot of patterned button up shirts and plain shorts and skirts. The prices are extremely reasonable too.
I can get behind Sybil’s because it allows bigger women to have affordable, comfortable and lovely clothes. Gone are the days of alterations or abandoning clothes racks because nothing fits correctly. Sybil’s wins big in my books.
