Specialties

We guarentee our prints and maps are original to date provided. Each item will have a certificate of authenticity.

History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 our family business opened on Unley Road, Parkside. In 1999 we moved to the Village of Unley across from the ANZ bank where we have remained in 2013. Much of our collection has graduated to the «antique» classification during our almost 25 year history. Although the original intention was as print dealers we soon had enquiries about era specific presentations leading us to develop our custom framing service. Here we can advise for the the presevation of sentimental family items to those hoping for future investment returns. We frame items purchased to those bought in using visualisaton, or virtual framing.

Meet the Business Owner

Sandra K.

Business Owner

My father, Gordon, had long had an interest in restoring and reclaiming old furniture and houses. It must be that experience that focussed his children’s eduation on all things historical. Becoming dealers in antique prints, with all of that historical context, seemed a logical step. An understanding of historical interiors but also the deteriorating features of past records developed into the development of our conservation custom framing service to encourage historic and value preservation. Since then I have been a founding member of the Picture Framers Guild of Australia (PFGA), along with other concerned framers, of which I had been PFGA President in 2009 – 2012.
