Since one of my best friends used to work here, I have had the opportunity to suss this gym out a couple times. For the record, said friend still loves her Curves workouts.
Solely designed for women, Curves is tailored to you thus helping you loose weight by offering the curves circuit. This specific workout is 30 minutes of strength training, cardio and stretching activities, which burns up to 500 calories.
Curves is actually the largest fitness franchise in the world and generally a cheaper alternative to most other gyms. Personally it’s not my kind of gym, however I believe it is a great option for many others.
Located on Unley Road, Curves gym is quite small and not the typical home to a common gym junkie. Do not expect treadmills and weight rooms, however rather a woman friendly environment designed to improve your health and loose weight safely.
In the end it is the circuit workout and specific weight monitoring that is the draw card. Not for me, however it could very well be for you.
