Build A Bear Workshop

Sometimes even an adult likes to feel like a child again, and Build A Bear is the place to do it!
With friendly staff and a joyful atmosphere, choosing, stuffing and dressing up your very own cute little companion is certainly an experience to remember forever.
Not only are you so involved with the process, but you of course get to take your new found friend home in his very own carrier made to look like a little house. Inside they will wait along with their own personalised birth certificate until you are ready to take them out to play.
My own personal experience included a limited edition Toothless that flew into the store for the very last time. Lucky me!
So come one and all, young and old and in between, Build A Bear is waiting and so is your new cuddly friend!

Great for the littlest (and not so little) members of the family. They chose a bear then get to stuff and give a beating heart to their very own bear. this shop gets very busy at times so be prepared, especially when you have to go on to the computers before you buy your bear and register them etc. with only a few computers and kids having to decide on names it can get a little bit frustrating. the only drawback is once kids see all the clothes and accessories for the bears it can end up costing an absolute fortune. I got a basic bear with heart beat and a little heart pillow and it was very expensive. a friends daughter went all out and got the whole outfit, shirt pants shoes sunglasses and it cost $ 90 so this is not a cheap shop.

Every child has a special toy, and for most of us it’s been our teddy bear. Imagine if you not just loved your bear your whole life, but you actually got to build it.
This is the concept behind the rather cool Build A Bear Workshop. Your child gets to customise their own stuffed best friend and watch it being built.
This doesn’t seem to traumatise them (children are naturally rather ghoulish creatures) and being able to select every detail down to the colour bow around the next is a real win. It’s a little more expensive than just buying a bear off the shelf, but as you also get a good hours worth of child distraction out of it I think it’s worth it.
