Left here today quite disappointed, mostly with the quality of the food & coffee vs the cost. Really quite expensive. Coffee(flat white) is $ 4 and it was terribly bitter. Big steak breakfast comes with only 1 egg — at $ 22.50, it’s a rip off. Smashed avo with egg $ 15.00. Toilets are filthy. The only thing I have liked from here was their mini beef burger that I had on my first visit. Won’t be returning here. X

Quite a good place! Breakfast is reliably good quality and the coffee is nice as well. Great customer service — They’re always friendly and that’s excellent!

Well, where do I begin? Paid $ 70 for breakfast.(2 of us) for a ensemble of simple foods which would equal $ 15 if prepared at home. The deception is created when you are forced to order the plethora of sides which are priced at significantly inflated amounts due to the very minimal and basic base dishes which make up there limited options. Kudos for attempting to well present their dishes with unwashed stale lettuce ‘décor’ on the side too… Oh and by the way do not go on a public holiday, you will be forced to pay an 10% surcharge which they tell you at the end.

Platform 3 is a series of new cafes that have popped up in Carnegie of late and are helping to transform the area from working class $ 2 shops to a credible hipster hang out in the south east. The coffee, pastries and brunches are delicious — this morning I indulged in the apple crumble and a soy chai latte. They’re also now open for dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. A nice, little local place that hits the spot. Recommend!

This is definitely my new favourite breakfast restaurant in my area. They have fresh juices and offer beautifully presented food including a steak and egg breakfast for those mornings you really need it. They have wifi too.
