Lexi Nails

The girls at Lexi are so sweet, and they give a mean manicure.
It’s not the world’s most glamorous salon, but I’ve seen bits of Sleepless in Seattle on the small television in the corner on two separate occasions, which makes it an indulgent experience in my book.
Lexi doesn’t have the greatest range of nail varnish (mostly traditional colours in the pink/​red family with a few lurid exceptions) but they don’t mind if you bring in your own from home. Usually I only get a mani-​pedi, but I have it on good authority from a friend that their waxing is phenomenal — she swears the Lexi girls always give shaggy eyebrows the perfect shape.
There’s only a handful of chairs available so I’d recommend calling ahead on weekends, but walk-​ins aren’t a problem mid-​week. And, like most salons, you’ll get a better deal if you bundle various services together, however the prices are really reasonable to begin with so an afternoon at Lexi is a guilt-​free treat!
