I ordered a $ 9.90 Peanut Sauce with Rice and Chicken and a $ 6 Coconut Sticky Rice. The peanut sauce with Rice and Chicken was pretty decent and I love the thickened sauce that comes with the Rice and Chicken. The chicken is tender and the vegetables and the sauce just makes it such a nice dish. The sauce is a bit sweet and a bit savoury as it is a main dish, however, I do expect more peanut taste in it since it is ‘peanut sauce’ after all, and there were not enough of the peanut-y taste in it. I though it would even be more like a Satay sauce kind of peanut sauce, but well, it wasn’t. Even though the sauce doesn’t have enough of the peanut-y taste/smell to it, it is still pretty decent and I like it very much. The coconut sticky rice is what I expect from a Thai dish, with a sweet flavoured sticky rice that makes a cake like structure with coconut milk/sauce next to it. The flavour was pretty nice, not TOO sweet and there are three different colours: White, orange and purple. I don’t know if there are actual differences in flavour or it is just my sight deceiving my tasting, but the white one is soft with a plain sweet sticky rice taste, the orange feels a bit pumpkin-y, and the purple is the purple type of sticky rice that is a bit harder and chewy-er, and still got that nice sweet sticky rice taste. I couldn’t see the coconut milk/sauce that came with it before I started nibbing on it because the plate is white too, and then I realize that there is indeed coconut milk/sauce next to it, so I added it on the sticky rice. It was pretty nice, and just sweet enough to satisfy, and quite similar to the ones I had in Malaysia, and not too sweet that induce your saliva production. However, it is fairly small in size. Conclusion: Decent dish, even though not quite come up to its name, still pretty delicious. Yes, it is delicious. Opinion on Price: The main dish’s price is acceptable and quite live up to its great taste, with an okay size. But the dessert is a bit too expensive in my opinion, but well, maybe sticky rice and coconut milk is expensive/hard to get in Australia.
