When I was finishing high school we had our assembly, as I’m sure most people do, and as a music student, some friends and I were putting on a performance of Alice Coopers School’s Out which we decided was both fitting and apt. Myself and my friend who was playing lead guitar took a break from rehearsals one night and he drove his old VW beetle up to Cammeray shops where we purchased a pizza from Livio’s Pizzeria. Livio’s Pizzeria, still there today and still selling delicious pizza’s is an old Italian pizza shop with a red brick exterior and classic Italian restaurant font on its signage.(Yes, there is a font for that.) We got the pizza take away, though they do offer an eat in area, if not a little small. We took the pizza to the school oval and washed it down with a sneaky VB stubby. We were over eighteen so all was legit, just in case there are people wondering about school kids and drinking. Livio’s is a very Italian, classical pizza shop with fantastic pizzas, eat in and take away.
