More negatives than positives I’m afraid. Sure our breakfast tasted good… When it arrived about 40 minutes later(when I say about it was possibly longer). Our coffee cups had become bone dry. I ordered the DIY with 2 poached eggs and fresh tomato. Nothing complicated. My husband ordered the eggs benedict with smoked salmon. Im sure hollandaise sauce is made in batches so basically we waited that long for them to toast bread and poach eggs. The café was not overly busy either– midweek and mid to late morning. The(weird– overly friendly but only passively so, possibly kinky sex couple who arrived well after us) got their food before us too. Additionally the DIY starts at $ 6 with sourdough toast, then you add your extras… Well expect that $ 6 to get you only one piece of toast. The positives were: lovely staff and the food did taste good. Maybe if I had ordered something with ‘magic dust’(as per the menu) our breakfast would have magically come earlier.
