History

Established in 1998.

De-​Stress and be HAPPY was originally set up in 1998.

I became very interested in complimentary therapies after my 3 children were born. 2 of my children had behavioural and learning difficulties. At the time, I was unable to find very much beneficial information on how I could help my boys with the issues they and myself — as there Mum were facing. I then discovered Kinesiology! I was so impressed with the positive benefits that I was able to see in my children, that I went onto study kinesiology myself. That was in 1996 and I have not looked back since.

At De-​Stress and be HAPPY, we offer Kinesiology, Reiki, Ear Candling, Past Life Regression. I also have a Certificate 1V in Mental Health and am currently studying for my Diploma of Counselling.

The business now specialises in people with anxiety based disorders, depression, panic attacks, stress. Plus children with learning and behavioural difficulties. Check out our website, and see how we can be of assistance to you…

Business Owner

My background working life, before becoming a Wellness Practitioner, was is in customer relations, retails sales, marketing & training & managing an electrical business for 14 years.

I have worked in the retail industry — since the age of 15, hospitality industry on & off as the need arose, and the automobile industry for 9 years. After children I moved into the exciting area of direct sales, and ran a dynamic party plan business with a number of direct distributors for 5 years. Feeling like I needed to move in a different direction, I then went onto managing a successful electrical contracting business for 15 years.

This diverse training, has given me a fantastic grounding, in the many faceted areas of commerce.

All of which have now been successfully integrated, within my own clinic practice.

I combine a practical common sense approach with new ideas & theories which are beneficial for replenishing the body mind & spirit.
