Zebra Green is another hidden gem offered in the ever changing and improving Bondi Junction eateries. Its located along Bronte Road which is a perfect location that’s just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the Junction. The venue appears small when you first walk in but opens up to a beautiful courtyard that’s perfect to spend on a balmy summer night. The staff were all courteous in welcoming us and seated us quickly. They offer a café style menu during the day but more fine dining options on for dinner crowd. They have a good selction of chooses such as duck leg, shoulder of lamb, fillet of steak, barramundi etc. The menu also contains a selection of salads which they reccomend to accompany the main course. After scanning the menu, I decided I would go for the fish and a beet salad. The Barramundi was served with roasted tomatoes, corn fritters and asparagus. The fish was cooked beautifully and the skin was extra crunchy. Happy with my selection. The beet salad contained beets, watermelon, rocket salad, feta and hazelnut. Beautiful combinations of flavour and didn’t need any additional dressing for flavour. Portion size was just right for both of these. Getting a good feed on both of these for about $ 30. My friend ordered the Lamb and it was cooked just right. Soft and easily breaks when cut with the knife. Nicely presented also with crushed feta and mix of mint on top of it. The venue also sells their own sauces and after trying some I ended up leaving with the Smoky Apple and Sweet Chilli Sauce. They sell them for $ 6.50 which is good price for tasty sauce to accompany your next chicken dinner. Nice place would go back.

Wow! I’m always up for a good food hunt in Bondi and this place did not disappoint! I had the steak and Mono had the schnitzel and I seriously can’t decide between the two! The steak was cooked perfectly and the schnitzel, well let’s just say it’s the best damn fried chicken I’ve had in Australia!(And that’s coming from an American, finger licking, straight from the south good!) We also ordered the chips, haloumi salad and the spring slaw. I love to cook and am picky on where I eat and can honestly say that Sean knows what’s up. His flavour balance is great and portion sizes are generous. The ambiance is funky. The staff is attentive and spot on. This is definitely a hidden gem in the Junction you need to check out! Sn, the hot sauce is off the chain and I may need a straw

Stumbled upon this place for dinner and totally think I have found a new staple restaurant! They’ve only been open for about a month and food is amazing. Seriously. The quality is way better than you expect for the price. Mains are around $ 20(give or take a couple of dollars). I had the lamb and my husband had the steak, which were both amazing! We split a salad, which was also great — chilli broccoli and couscous(can’t remember the actual title). They have a few salads that looked really good. The service was great, as was the atmosphere. We chose to sit it the garden and loved the sound of the rain on the roof — so cool. They’re waiting on their liquor licence, so bring along a nice bottle of wine as they’re BYO. Love this place already.
