Description

Specialties

In late November, 2011, the new look Bondi Beach Hardware was revealed. What was once a place for local tradesman and DIY enthusiasts, the site underwent a complete transformation, reopening it’s doors as a vibrant and welcoming bar & restaurant.

Our menu is designed with the ‘global share-style’ ethos in mind, and includes dishes such as our famous Sliders (mini burgers) or quirky pancakes, our speciality dishes such as Albacore tuna ceviche or a winter warmer of Lamb ragout with polenta chips. The culinary delights, cleverly constructed by our Head Chef, Elliot Anders, are ideal for group dining.

Not to be outdone by the food, the bar list will ensure you won’t go thirsty. The wine list includes a mix of classic and modern varietals from AUS and NZ regions along with reputable and more obscure grapes and blends from across the globe. Our cocktail list, put together by owner Hamish Watts, has been extremely well received for its simplicity and thoughtful design. The list features classic martini’s and signature blends such as the Elderflower & Lychee Martini.

History

Established in 2011.

Bondi Hardware was the first venue to be opened by Applejack Hospitality duo Ben Carroll and Hamish Watts. Since then, they have also opened The Botanist in Kirribilli, SoCal in Neutral Bay and The Butler in Potts Point.
