One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in Australia! The service is impeccable. And the owner is friendly and very welcoming. The food is beyond delicious. They’re small portions, yet bursting with flavor! I keep coming back here and I will continue to do so. The restaurant is separated between a seating dinner area and a bar. It perfect for either kind of dinning!

One of the better eating venues in Berwick, they have a fresh menu and delightful tapas options. Light entertainment on a Sunday afternoon makes it a great place to enjoy a tasty lunch and enjoy a few drink with friends. Friday and Saturday nights are a bit more noisy down the frony bar but you can still enjoy a nice dinner in the back section, before moving into the front to enjoy the music and dancing. Eightyone’s atmosphere is great for a casual lunch with friends or a romantic date and all with fantastic food options.

Berwick’s dining scene has come a long way in the past decade and EightyOne really exemplifies this. With lovely décor, a cool wine bar fee on a Friday and Saturday night and yummy food, this is an upmarket option for those who can’t be bothered with the trek into the city but still want a quality dining experience. The back section has an enormous dining area with an upstairs section too, but be warned– you need to book for a Friday or Saturday night. The front section transforms into a bar complete with live music on the weekend and you are pretty much guaranteed to run into someone you know here, especially if you are a local. The wine list is good and offers a local selection and the food is fresh and well-prepared with a distinct modern Australian twist. It is a little more pricey than many of Berwick’s other options though so be prepared to give the credit card a bit of a work out.
