Booksave Discount Textbooks is a specialist education textbook provider. Our aim is to provide textbooks for University, TAFE and higher education students at the lowest price.

History

Established in 1994.

Booksave Discount Textbooks (formerly known as Encompass Info Shop) was initially started in the early 1990’s by two University students with the aim of providing textbooks to students at the lowest price possible. Due new ownership in 2010 we relaunched ourselves with a new name and branding but with the same commitment and desire to assist students with the cheapest textbooks. Over the years we have also diversified into Specialist Training Centre’s, Government Departments, Libraries and Hospitals.

We have continued to evolve along with our customers needs and as part of this evolution we have launched our online shopping, catering to all students at all University or TAFE’s across WA and Australia. As well as offering a range of used books in our Second Hand Section.

We are a locally owned business conveniently located in Technology Park, Bentley opposite Curtin University.

Business Owner

I have over 20 years combined experience in both Real Estate and Print Advertising/​Publishing. Starting out in 1989 as a residential property manager, before moving into advertising and marketing with WA’s major Newspaper — The West Australian Newspaper. I worked in the newspaper industry for 10 years including managing one of The West Australian’s regional publications, before taking on a business venture with my husband. While taking a well earned break from business ownership, I kept myself busy working for SENSIS Yellow pages and ACP Magazines for a few years.
