Kidspace Balmain is a dedicated childrens activity studio in the heart of Balmain village in Inner West Sydney.

We run a full programme of fun and educational classes for babies and kids, including the Art’n’Move developmental programme, informal playgroup sessions, beginners ballet classes and after-​school activities.

We also host art workshops and activity programmes for school holidays.

History

Established in 2011.

The Kidspace studio was set up by Venetia Hendry in mid 2011 to provide an Inner West venue for the licenced Art’n’Move developmental programme, and has since seen hundreds of kids through the doors to take part in our classes, parties and fun activity sessions.

Staffed by trained and dedicated teachers, we provide fun and learning for busy little hands and minds.

Meet the Business Owner

Venetia H.

Business Owner

Venetia is the business owner and operator of Kidspace Balmain and holds the Art’n’Move licence for Sydney’s Inner West suburbs.

With a business and textile design background, she raised two boys to teenagers before the unexpected arrival of a third son took her life in a whole new direction. She became involved with community playgroups and early childhood learning in the UK before moving to Sydney in 2008, and now takes huge pleasure from seeing all her little ‘customers’ blossom in confidence and ability through play and learning in this wonderful purpose designed venue.
