Pub Lovers, you cant miss it. It’s a massive Tuscan coloured behemoth on Gympie Road. I went there because I was skint and I’d seen the sign for the $ 5.95 rump steak. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was surely cheaper than the closest fast food restaurants that surrounded it. I walked in and it was pretty much a ghost town, I walked up to the bar and ordered the special. I found my seat and proceeded to watch several sporting events on the multiple televisions on the wall. Inside I noticed that Pub Lovers was willing to splash a bit of colour around, unlike your typical dank bar on the side of a main road. I was pretty chuffed that I had made the decision to come here. When the meal came out I was stunned, for the price that I had payed the piece of meat I received was pretty substantial. Served with a side of salad and chips I was pretty full by the time the last cut of potato was eaten. I was very happy with my decision and will definitely go back there when the money rolls in shy.

I love Pub Lovers in Aspley. It’s cheap, great classic pub meals and fantastic service. The prices don’t stray too far from $ 10, which is challenging to find these days. They have a good selection of classic favourite pub meals such as steak and chips, fish and chips, pastas, pies etc. The service here is very good. As I hadn’t been before, I walked in and I must have looked lost. So soon after, a staff member approached me and offered assistance. It turns out, all I needed to do was order at the bar and they’d bring it to the table. Simple. It was fast and the food was fantastic. Definitely a place worth visiting on the northside.
