Great service and great food. Staff are all lovely and helpful and welcoming. The Vietnamese rolls are to die for and the salt and pepper squid. Really great little place and love that I work near here so I can visit often!

I come here for coffee everyday. The service is great and the coffee is the best in the area. I love going to a place where they make an effort to learn your name. They even see me coming and by the time I’ve finished paying my coffee is ready. Good peoples! I’ve also had the salted caramel brownies which are pretty to die for.

Great place for a casual lunch catch up. Had the pulled pork sliders — I mean who could resist. Tasted great and the grilled pineapple in them added something extra. Great coffee and good prices.

Adding a star for the dinner experience I had last night. It was the Bowery’s first night of dinner(they’re now serving Wednesday through Saturday) and I was looking for a quick bite to eat. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, helping me choose a meal for my dietary requirements(gluten free). I had the beef burger with no bread, the meat is served pink(specified on menu) and was juicy and delicious. A piece of perfectly melted cheese, some gorgeously delicious lettuce and tomato, a few pickles also accompanied the meat. You can also choose to pay for a few extras(like beetroot) and they’ll offer sauce when the meal comes out. The coffee was wonderful(Bonsoy milk available for the soy drinkers, and I think they have organic milk for dairy too). Staff were lovely and were so kind and communicative when there were some issues in the order of meals in the kitchen and I was waiting a little longer than expected. Would absolutely recommend checking out for dinner in the latter part of the week.

Third time lucky for us after dropping into 2 other cafés in the west of the city which closes at 4pm on a Saturday. Cold windy wintry afternoon n all we wanted is a nice hot cup of beverage after our volunteering work. The staff behind the counter smiles n that’s a plus, we kindly asked him to cut our cronut in half and he’s very obliging. Not too busy at this time of the day n there’s plenty of choice of seatings in the spacious dining room. The drinks came in reasonable time as we tucked into our sweet treats. The cronut is of a fair size and am glad I only had half. It was light and I expected it to be greasy as a donut, but it was not. There’s plenty of filling and the icing on the top was just right n not sickly sweet. My first introduction to cronut and it was ok! As the minutes past while we were enjoying our beverages, more people wandered in from the cold to either have a glass of wine and read the newspaper or having ice cream treats from grandparents. Nice place to chill but I would much prefer a more cosy environment.

Hidden gem with fantastic coffee — you can even do some grocery shopping while you wait as this restaurant doubles as a grocery store
