We came here to seek refuge on the Fringe opening night when it was just chokers everywhere else. It was such a nice little nook to escape from the crowd for a while. If you have time, sit inside and be hidden from view so you can just enjoy some QUALI-T(see what I did there) relaxing downtime with your huge range of teas. Teas aside, the matcha smoothie is an absolute delight as well!

The T Bar is situated in the lounge food court, lower ground at the entrance to Coles. Here you will find a very inviting Tea Establishment, An industrial style fit out, smooth paved floor, black high iron legged tables with matching stools, hundreds of tea choices on shelves around the walls, at the rear is a discrete dining area. We stopped by for a tea and coffee, and from the food cabinet chose a Turkish bread Fold Over, Tea and a premier Di Bella Coffee, our order was served with out delay, the staff were obliging and friendly. This is a very tidy, modern café. If you are into a fine tea, yet your partner would prefer coffee then this is well worth a place to enjoy and relax. Or as an option you can order your tea on line and receive a free Tea sample.

Quaint little tea bar offering both a small seated area for dine in tea and snacks, as well as take away options. They have a wide range of interesting and exotic tea blends and you can purchase these loose teas usually in 50g or 100g packets. They also offer some of the teas in tea sachets. The brew master and staff are all very friendly. The beauty of this place is that you can purchase any cup of the tea you want to try before actually committing to buying a whole packet. If I lived and worked in Adelaide, I think I would be coming here every morning!

If I lived in Adelaide I would go here every day and eventually put a cot in the corner and sleep here too. What a great place.

Such a great store for tea lovers. The woman I spoke with was so helpful to helping me discover my tastes. You are able to sample all of the teas before you buy larger portions. The site itself os located in a Food Court in Rundle Plaza so it is not super relaxing, but the searing toward the back of the store is nice quiet. All of the teas are reasonably priced and there are treats and coffee available also. This is the only café to do scones in the Plaza which is a plus for those who like me enjoy a good scone with my tea.

Great little tea store and bar with very helpful staff, decent prices, very cute labels and a vast range of teas that you can either purchase a cup or a bag full of and drink in house or at home! Best of all, the tea quality lives up to the cuteness of the store! I bookmarked this store Back in California while planning my latest Australian trip as both the stores website and the Unilocal reviews looked very promising and I was happy to find that(as always) Unilocal had not lead me astray! I ended up walking out with four of their specialty teas(in fact, one was even called special-T) and I’m very happy to advise, a couple of days later and three open tea bags and I’m very happy with what I purchased! I might have to sneak by here(or the Gouger St location) one last time before we head back to Melbourne!

I have to admit that I was a little sad when T-bar moved from below David Jones to Rundle Place. I lov ed the set up they had in their previous location but the new location has grown on me and the excellent service and goods remained unchanged when the move occurred. I love tea! Herbal, black, and green including all sorts of flavoured varieties and I love being able to have a cup or a pot and relax. The tea to take home is very reasonably priced. My sister loved the chai latter(often adorned with a stick on cinnamon for decoration) and the coffee is also excellent. They have a few interesting sodas and other cold drinks on offer and some yummy cakes too. Another crowning achievement that this place deserves is that my tea-adoring(she says addicted) grandmother loves their English Breakfast when she’s out in town with her friends. I recommended it to her and she was ecstatic, and many of us know how fussy grandmas can be with tea!

Yummy Yummy cinnamon porridge for breakfast! The teas are delicious and T Bar(unlike other Tea Stores around the place) are a local company! I love the titles of the teas too and that they have samples to try. The staff seem to have a love for the tea too and are always willing to recommend something new!

What’s not to love here? Fabulous tea and a quality place to stop in a food hall. I love being able to have a cup of takeaway tea. Not being a coffee drinker, it’s rare to have the same luxury for tea. Since(IMHO) Rundle Place is actually nice for a food hall, T bar is a lovely part of the whole experience of being down here. I have bought a takeaway tea and say down with some sushi, which is quick, convenient and still tasty and great quality. Can you tell I’m not usually a fan of food halls? There is the option of eating/drinking in, to a backdrop of relaxing music. A wall of teas to smell and explore. Great service. They’re passionate their tea here and very friendly. Highly recommend.

New favourite haunt! If you’re looking to purchase tea, please come here! It’s much better priced than that one other tea shop…(10 $ for 200g of matcha powder as opposed to $ 24 for 30g for example), a fantastic tea menu for you to drink a tea while you’re there, and they do GREAT coffee! I’m more of a coffee person than a tea person, and amazingly the T Bar do one of the best coffees I’ve tried in this area. The staff all know their stuff and can help even the fussiest tea drinker pick something new, and are super helpful with any of your questions. The food is pricey($ 10 – 15 for a foccacia) so I haven’t tried any from here yet, but it all looks very good and very fresh. Seating is okay, it’s quiet if you can nab one of their(small) seats inside the venue otherwise you have to sit out in the noise food court. T Bar is an Adelaide owned business so if you want to show some Adelaide support they definitely deserve it!

As far as I can tell in life, the T Bar can do no wrong. Their new shop in Rundle Place is genuinely delightful, it is tucked away in a little nook and they have really made the most of the space available. It has been beautifully decorated and feels so cozy and calm — like an oasis in the shopping mall. The tea, of course, is wonderful! The staff here really know what they are doing with their brews. The food is also quite nice — it’s not my motivation for coming here, by any means, but I like that I can pop in for a meal with my Earl Grey. I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, I will definitely be coming back! I want to mention also, that the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that, because the place is quite small, I think they don’t have their full range of teas available(or at least on display). If you are looking to sit down with a cuppa and a bite to eat, then is definitely the place, but if you are after that hard to find, artisan tea — then I would recommend you visit the branch in the Central Markets.
