Alas! Finally! Good savory dishes? Check. (Think of a Munoosh, or a sincronizada– but Turkish by nationality, Gozleme by name). Good service? Check. Friendly staff? Check. Good coffee? Check. (currently there is a coffee and Gozleme special for $ 11). Nice seating? Check (don’t forget to go upstairs) Free drinking water? Check (and here it is laced with fruit, so it is quite aromatic — the water alone is worth a visit -). (As a side note slash philosophical question — why do most eateries around Rundle Mall don’t offer drinking water?) Worth a trip? Heck, I’m a regular and a fan.

Looking for a coffee after a Vietnamese lunch on our way to Elder Hall, we stumbled into this neat clean café in Austin Street, the young friendly staff were keen to serve and seem happy at a workplace. I think it’s a family business and they were from Uzbekistan, that explains about their willingness to be at the workplace and the decorations which adorn the shelves were from their home country. Coffee were from Grinders and they were good. They have been there only 3 months and they should have plenty of exposure with the Austin Street food and wine festival today. We were keen to sample mum’s doughnut and boy we were glad we did. At $ 2 a piece one can’t get anything these days apart from a biscuit at a café, we were so impressed with its lightness and just the right amount of sweetness we bought 3 to take home for family members! Would like to come back for breakfast and lunch one day, they deserve more customers.
