For a food court job, this place is an absolute diamond in the rough 3 curries, rice, papdam, naan and a bottle of water/can of coke for $ 11, 10 if you’re a student is a fantastic deal. Portions sizes are perfect, solid amount of rice and the three small curries are the same size as a sizeable serve. Rogan Josh, Butter Chicken and a Veg curry were all tasty and the meat/veg tender; plenty of meat and not just sauce — which is often a problem with food courts. I would have preferred some more medium options in the end I had to choose all mild as I struggle with a Vindaloo’s heat. Also the naan was a tad tough — but definitely edible and for a tenner Im not complaining! 4⁄5 is so misleading I prefer an 8⁄10 definitely would recommend for eating on the run or Adelaide uni/uni sa city east students as it sits just off poultney!

I had a really delicious lunch at Chefs of Tandoori Express yesterday. For $ 8.50 I had a decent serve of rice and a small serve of both lamb korma and chicken madras. A papadum was served as well. The curry serves were small but but the meat percentage of the serve was generous and filling. The lamb sauce was creamy and delicious and the meat itself was really tender. The chicken madras has a bit of a kick to it which I enjoyed, For someone who microwaves papadums at home it is always such a luxury to have one fried when out! Yum! The service I found was really friendly. A always try and cover the gluten free friendliness of a place too in my reviews and this place is awesome, all curries are gf Chefs of Tandoori Place also has the added benefit of being near my uni! Too easy!

Some Quick Indian food at a bargain price. (Best Value is what’s called a Taali Plate, 3 curries, rice, half a Naan and a Pappadam. Not the best curries, that’s for sure but for a quick service Food Court place it’s about the same as most. The flavours of the curries are OK. they do their rice well and IF lucky you get a bit of fresh Naan Bread and not some luke warm bit that’s gone a but rubbery.
