Hutt St Chicken And Seafood

The chicken was delicious! I had a Warm Chicken Salad and my husband had the Hawaiian Burger with sweet potato chips. I loved my salad, and will be ordering it again soon. It was full of flavor and the chicken was juicy. My husband enjoyed his burger as well, and we both really enjoyed the chips. They were crispy and not too salty. Just perfect. Can’t really comment on the burger too much since I am not a fan of schnitzel. Even in Germany, the schnitzel did not win me over. Sorry guys. You will have to wait for a review from someone who actually enjoys it. Other that, I would recommend it and will be going back for more chicken. Mmm…

I made a point of returning to Hutt St Chicken and Seafood tonight after visiting last night at 8pm and finding out they’d sold out of all their chickens and salad. Like asians eating in asian restaurants, chicken shops selling out are the first tell tale sign you’re onto something good.
My half a chicken and chips cost only $ 11 and there was enough well seasoned chicken for 2. The chicken was a little dry but by 7pm I had expected that. The chips were enough for one, but on the rare occasion I dine out on chips, I really dine out on chips. They were scrumptiously chicken salted and cooked well.
The only salad without pasta or mayonnaise in it (the greek) had almost sold out when I arrived so the server gave me the rest left over. Unfortunately it didn’t have the big chunks of fetta and olives I had seen in the salad the night before so it wasn’t amazing.
But for those random occurrences when «I feel like chicken tonight» and can’t be bothered putting on more than the uggs and tracky dacks, this will probably become my go to. Just get there early before they sell out!
