Food is amazing but they are so inconsistent. On 3 occassions they were«out of guacamole»??? Err that’s like a bakery with no bread. On 1 occassion out of chilly sauce… seriously! On 2 occassions they were just closed??? Need to be consistent with products and opening times. Food is good so i keep coming back but not for long if it stays this way.

This is the newest little addition to waymouth st! I must admit I was a little confused as I heard The Editor had closed down but when I walked past the next time it had an «El» sign over the«the» of editor and a sticker underneath saying Mexican something! A work friend and I decided to go check it out. Our meals were really nice however I was overly jealous when my friends nacho came out and it had Guacamole BUT my burrito had none! We all know the hero of a burrito is the avocado. Apparently you have to ask for it. My friend only knew this from another colleague back at work however this was not written on the menu? We both ordered an orange juice which was forgotten about until I asked. When I did the waitress was very apologetic and brought them out promptly with some complimentary corn chips. She explained they were short staffed as someone was sick so she was taking orders and running food. She was lovely and doing her best. The photo of my burrito looks small but let me assure you that I was very full! And I asked to have no rice or black beans. They have a large range of Mexican beers on offer. A great little place for a quick cheap lunch that’s fresh and yummy. Just what waymouth st needed. They would have had the fourth star if my burrito came with guacamole… I will request it next time!
