Claire Street Cookies

I actually went to Le Cordon Bleu with Carly the owner and have always been a bit in awe of her baking! I recently found Clair Street Cookies through its Facebook page and knew I needed to taste test and make sure she hasn’t lost her touch… she hasn’t.
I’m not sure of everyone else’s experiance with custom cakes or cookies, but in my experiance normally you have to choose whether you want them to look pretty or taste great. Its very rare to find both properties in on cookie… until I described what I wanted to Carly!
Not only was it a damn good looking cookie but it tasted freaking amazing also! There is no cutting corners here. She is not messing around when she says something like «it’s got a lot of chocolate» or «I know you don’t normally like icing Tres, but I think your going to be surprised» or «no you can’t eat those they are for a completely separate order than your own» (ok ignore the last quote, but you get the point)
They only thing I would want to make sure you know is that Clair Street Cookies is still a small operation so if you know what you are going to want, make sure you place your order well ahead of time!
