A proper old school sandwich shop! Because sometimes you just want a proper old school sandwich. This isn’t your fancy city sandwich bar, its your old fashioned double cut roll with pickles sandwich shop. Proper lunch ladies ready for a chat, a counter full of sandwich fillings and a ‘hot’ section up the end with pies, pasties, chips, bacon and a number of other things that can be doused in gravy. Unsurprisingly the prices are among the best you’ll find in the city. Go on, grab yourself a Balfours choccie donut while you’re there.

If you are on the hunt for a double cut roll so full of salad you end up decorated with shredded carrot and iceberg lettuce, a schnitzel roll with gravy — very popular option with the lads, or a simple egg and lettuce ‘sanga’ they got it all and more.
Good variety of salad and meat that always looks and tastes fresh, and friendly staff who quickly and efficiently process your order with minimal fuss and a smile. If you can roll it, slice it or toast it they’ll have it.
Great value, which can be hard to come by around these parts.
And hey, they even sell custard tarts and choccy donuts. Classic!
