There are two yogurt shops in Yuma & I prefer this shop. It has a very creamy consistency & yes they do run out of toppings or even certain flavors some days but so do places like Dairy Queen. There is a vast variety and I can always find something. 10 flavors and over 30 toppings. It can be pricey but you are in control of how much you would like. They do sometimes take requests if you would like a certain topping seen. I think they are great for a locally owned shop in Yuma

DAMN it was good. I got the vanilla and orange non dairy in the same cup to make a creamsicle. I added crushed butterfingers to it, can’t resist them. My family loved what they got to. One of them was a non dairy pineapple, I got a taste of it and WOW. Was not cheap but it was worth it.

Unfortunately it’s the only frozen yogurt in the Foothills. The owner of this place must not care about their customers. They always run out of walnuts and lids. The flavors are very limited also. The employees have a take it or leave type attitude, I assume because the owner has the same attitude. They close quite often for a few weeks at a time. The owner must not trust the employees, because every time she goes on vacation, they close the doors. Oh how I wish there was another place I could do my business with out here in the foothills.

Every time we come into Tiki Hut we get the best service. The employees are super sweet and I live that they have non dairy options!

I really enjoyed it however I wish that there were more flavors and toppings. I think that is good quality I just would like a larger quantity. I usually go to Big Swirl because their variety is off the charts, I think that they should take some pointers from Big Swirl and advance their business!

I love that you can do it yourself here. So many flavors to choose from and a generous selection of toppings. They had my favorite flavor here that I was always begging my last local froyo place to keep in stock– pomegranate raspberry!

The best froyo in Yuma — hands down. The yogurt is thick and creamy, and I swear the chocolate tastes identical to the soft serve at Dairy Queen(but non fat!). The staff is friendly, the inside is a clean and friendly environment, and the product is delicious. If you’re looking for a sweet evening treat or something to cool you off on a 120 degree afternoon, go to Tiki Hut!

Stopped by on 7/27, returning from Phoenix. Hot… Hot. Hot… Especially since our AC couldn’t keep up with the heat. This was a real treat, cooled off with some frozen yogurt. Mind you my daughters are yogurt snob. They only go to certain ones. They even said this was good. The experience was great, easy going atmosphere. No wait and refreshing!

This review is way over due. I’ve lived in yuma a year now and have been very dissatisfied with the places ice cream is available here in town. Once I discovered tiki hut I was instantly a fan! Its always clean and the employees are very nice. There’s only one in town like most places but its definitely worth the trip to the foothills just for yogurt!

We tried the Tiki Hut three weeks ago and are becoming regulars. They are always friendly and helpful. Tiki Hut beats the local ice cream place hands down in customer service, selection, and the cleanliness of the establishment. The selection of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings is outstanding. Help support your local private business owners — visit the Tiki Hut in the Foothills.

I didn’t realize that this was only one of a couple frozen yogurt places in the Yuma area. Having moved here from Phoenix where there is a frozen yogurt place in every shopping center, I’ve become quite addicted. Lucky for me, Tiki Hut is within 10 minutes of where we decided to move. It’s always clean, and the bar is always well stocked. I wish I could remember the employees name that is always working when I go in, but she’s great. She’s really friendly, and makes you feel welcome. There is a pretty good yogurt selection, with most choices being law-fat/fat-free and some choices being sugar free as well. The topping bar is always well stocked, and the items seem to be fresh. I think it’s $ 0.49/ounce. That is a pretty standard price for most yogurt places like this.

I stay in Foothills when I’m in Yuma so it’s great to be able to satisfy my cravings for yogurt by going here. I’ve been coming here ever since they opened and enjoy my visit every time. It is owned by a group of people and they pride themselves on keeping their place and equipment extremely clean. I love the Tiki theme and they have lots of space to sit and enjoy your yogurt. As for the yogurt itself, it’s not the best that I’ve tasted but it’s still good stuff. They offer a wide selection of toppings which is great as well.

Frozen yogurt in Yuma just doesn’t exist… so when some friends of ours said the Foothills got a frozen yogurt place we just had to try it. First impressions were great… The place was clean and the lay out was great… Now on to the layout. This is a pay by the ounce place(0.39cents per ounce as of Apr 2009). Here is how you play the game. First walk into the door and be greeted by the cashier, they will ask if this is your first time. If it is they will show you how it is done. Second, walk to the back and you will see some cup dispensers, grab one cup. Third, pick your flavor of frozen yogurt from the self serve machines. Normally they have around 10 – 12 flavors at any given time. My favorite is Strawberry, a friend of our says the Peanut Butter is good as well. Keep in mind you should leave some room for toppings. :) Fourth, liquid toppings. Here you will find stuff like chocolate, caramel, raspberry and marshmallow sauce. Also Hot fudge and butter pecan sauce can be had here… Just remember everything is per ounce. Fifth, fruit bar. Ok here are where the fruit and berry people will want to go. When I was there they had strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, coconut, and pineapple. The Strawberries and maybe the blackberries appeared to be the only fresh fruit there. Sixth, topping bar. Must be like 20+ toppings to choose from. They have every kind of nut, candy bar, and chocolate topping here. My personal favorite is the cereal, they have captain crunch and fruity pebbles. Finally, once you have crammed as much stuff as you can into your cup you come to the scale. Place your cup on the scale and be prepared to pay out some cash(they take credit as well). A Full cup will cost you around 5 – 7 dollars depending on what you put in it. I normally go with half a cup and pay around 3.50 for it. I am overall impressed with this place. Even though it is over 20 minute drive away I would gladly drive it to satisfy my sweet tooth. You have to try this place.

I love frozen yogurt! It is about time that Yuma has one too! Perfect timing since summer made it’s way here fast! What you do here is grab a cup, i believe it is about 16 oz, fill it up with whatever yogurt you want which is I think about 12 or 14 flavors such as vanilla, chcolate, peanut butter, pineapple, rasberry, cookies and crème, strawberry, n.y. cheesecake… can’t remember any other flavor. after you fill your cup to your desire, there’s a counter top with a variety of toppings. first there’s the syrups… chocolate, strawberry, hot fudge, caramel… and then the fresh fruit like strawberries, oranges and such… then the good stuff like candy… chocolate chips, white and milk chocolate, cereals, m&ms, oreo cookies… let’s just say, something to please everybody! they weigh everybody’s cup individually and i think it’s like 39 or 59 cents each oz… i can’t remember, but let me tell you, it’s all worth it when it’s about 105 outside! I usually get n.y. cheesecake with fresh strawberries and my daughter gets chocolate with hot fudge and m&ms…both of our cups come out to about 4 dollars together! the décor is fun! let’s just hope they open another location in town… i’m not saying i wouldn’t make the drive out to foothills… it sure is worth the drive!!! trust me!
