Every experience at Lotus has been fantastic, the customer service is always the best. Whether it’s a massage or hair color or a pedicure, Lotus is always where I recommend!

If you want a day at the spa then this is the place to go! They have all the services you’ll need. I’ve been going to see Nina for my hair highlights and she always take extra time massaging my scalp when shampooing. (So relaxing) It’s a bit out of town but worth the extra few minutes it’ll take to get there.

The staff is always very welcoming and goes the extra step to make sure I’m comfortable while I wait for my service. The technicians/​therapists are fantastic and I am always left feeling refreshed. I decided to purchase the Inner Circle Membership and it’s a great way for me to feel pampered each month at a very affordable cost.

I have never left lotus I satisfied with a hair cut. I have even gone there to have it fixed from someone else messing it up. I love the relaxing scalp massage they give and the overall care to what you think.

I was extremely disappointed with my service today. I went in for an updo for the Marine Corps ball, and my stylist, Clarissa, didn’t do at all what I was wanting. She seemed to not know what she was doing, even after showing her pictures of exactly what I was looking for. And within an hour of leaving, the updo began to fall out and so I just ended up taking it out, and redoing all my hair. It was honestly a waste of time and money. I have had my hair cut one other time at Lotus, and was super satisfied with it, but after this time I will no longer come back.

LOVE this place! Brooke fixed my hair after a hair cut disaster and it came out perfectly the way I wanted! I just moved to Yuma AZ and chose to get my hair done here even though so many people said it was too pricey. However, I would rather pay a little more for the attention and pampering you deserve. I am so lucky that I found my «go to» salon after and stylist so soon! Everyone is welcoming and very sweet, you definitely won’t regret your time or money spent here.

I was looking for a new place to get my haircut. It had been sometime since I had a haircut and I wanted to have someone take their time and help me with my indecisiveness. Brooke was great, very patient and understanding of my needs. She was cheerful but not fake like some stylists I’ve been to. The salon was inviting and bright with very helpful staff and yummy refreshments while I waited. I feel that the haircut was very fairly priced for a scalp massage, shampoo, cut and style! I already booked my next appointment and look forward to a little pampering!

This is the second time I’ve been here. This time I came in for a haircut. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were very friendly. My stylist, Clarissa, was great! She was very polite and professional. She knew exactly what I was talking about when it came to the type of cut I was looking for. I am very happy with the finished product. The salon chair was also the most comfortable chair I’ve ever experienced while getting my hair cut. I only have two, small, complaints. The first is that there really isn’t enough seating in the waiting area for the salon but I wasn’t waiting that long so it really wasn’t that bad. The second complaint is that there was some music playing in the area that wasn’t very «relaxing» and it was quite loud– I could hear it above the blow dyer. That was a bit annoying. Other than that, my experience was very enjoyable and I will be returning when I need my hair cut again.

After faithfully going to Lotus for just about any hair/​skin/​beauty needs for 2.5 years, I must say that I do enjoy it. I do not enjoy the prices though. It does seem expensive for Yuma. Sadly, there just isn’t any place else in Yuma that can compete, so Lotus can charge high prices and I will reluctantly pay because they do the best job, consistently, and with a smile.
Kim and Rachel are very accommodating of my unusually busy and frequently changing schedule. I am grateful for a place like this in Yuma.

GO TO ANOTHER SPA!!!
I purchased a gift certificate for my wife in Valentines day. 150 bucks, nothing big. My wife called to make an appointment a few days later and was told it would be 3 – 4 weeks before she could make an appointment. The gift card was a package and if you wanted everything done in one day you need to schedule a month out. On top of that they cover themselves by adding a disclamer, that there are no refunds because you can break up the package. Now, don’t you think if it’s a spa day you would want to do everything? What kinda mess is that. Myself being a all small business owner would never tell a client it’s going to be weeks before I can do all the work, unless your a building contractor. Sounds like they are in a good place and need to hire! Story gets better. My wife arrived 25 minutes early for the appt. she gets called back 26 minutes past the appt time, with apologies about being busy! Again this should be a good thing, hire more people! I leave you with this, find a real spa, maybe even go to Phoenix or San Diego for professionals.

After been given the opportunity to give Lotus Salon a 2^nd chance, I went back a couple of weeks ago and tried my luck w/​Cheri. Told her the same thing: that I want to get away from flat-​ironed straight hair and she listened! Gave me a great cut and style! Very satisfied, I think i’ll continue going back to her. Thx!

I was visiting a family member and hadn’t been to the city before so I had no idea what to expect. I have thick, curly hair so it is hard to find someone who can cut my hair the way I like it really well.
I got an appointment within an hour of calling with Kristin. She did an awesome job. At one point she said I like to take longer with these cuts (A line) so that I make sure it’s done perfect. That’s OK with me. At one point she had me look at the back and I felt it was too long so she cut it shorter like it like it. She was really friendly and I really like my hair. If I was in town I’d go back to her again for sure! Another thing I like is that they use natural shampoos.
I took a star off because on their website it said that a haircut was $ 30, but when I got the bill it was $ 35… so that was a little unexpected (plus tip of course).
Otherwise I’d really recommend this place

Where do I even begin to describe what a disappointment this place was? My husband booked a spa day for my friend & me for my birthday. When I set up the appointment, we were told we would each go get our massages & facials, and then have pedicures scheduled at the same time so we could sit & chat. We waited at least 20 minutes after our first two treatments in the small waiting room. They called only one of us back for a pedi. When I asked why were weren’t going together, they all of the sudden didn’t have space available. My friend would have to wait until I was finished before they could start on hers. Umm no way. We were paying a sitter hourly, not to mention it was completely unacceptable. The whole point of going together was to have fun & relax together since I was visiting from out of town.
On top of that mess, here are some other things that make this an establishment a complete joke.
1. Only one small waiting room for the entire spa. Uncomfortable chairs, stale sunflower seed trail mix, and lukewarm tap water were available. Really?
2. The facial was nice, but the massage was horrible. My 6 year old gives better massages.
3. Overbooked appointments.
4. Unhelpful staff.
5. One of the hairdressers came into the waiting area with hair so messy & greasy she looked like she hadn’t showered in a week. You are a hairdresser for crying out loud. Look professional! Sorry if that is shallow, but it was disgusting. No way would I ever let her touch my hair.
Needless to say, we walked out without even getting to finish our package deal. This place was horrible & we will never go back.

After I posted the review above, I received a response from the owner of Lotus. She was very disappointed to hear about our bad experience. She was more than willing to work with me to fix the situation and I also know she took extra steps to make sure things like this don’t happen at the spa again. I can imagine how hard it is to see a negative review about a business you run. It would be hard not to get defensive, but I must say that the owner was extremely professional & showed wonderful customer service. After dealing directly with her, I would definitely stop in to give Lotus a second chance if I am in town again. Thank you Kim!

I LOVE this place! The people are friendly and the products they sell are to die for. Great first impression— I love how they have snacks in the lobby, SO YUMMY! And they have the ZEN packages which every woman should check out! They also have a membership card which is SO worth what you pay. I’m coming back and getting it as soon as I get paid and I have my deep tissue massage/​reflexology appointment coming up so I’ll keep you updated but SO FAR SO GOOD! I hope they keep up the good work.
P. S. The only thing that really sucks about this place is that everyone apparently feels the same way— this place is ** always **booked! They never have appointments open the same week you always have to book 2 – 3 weeks in advance which really sucks when you have a busy schedule like I do!!!
